At the centre of our plans as an Integrated Care System are five strategic objectives, which shape and guide all of our work. At the centre of our plans as an Integrated Care System are five strategic objectives, which shape and guide all of our work.
To help us achieve these objectives, we have agreed the following design principles. These principles function as a red thread to keep us focused on our core vision of healthier futures for all of our local people.
Our operational and developmental plans, including specific strategies and programmes, flow from our strategic objectives, using our design principles to drive our work forward.
Among our objectives, our commitment to reducing health inequalities and our aim to improve population health by giving people more control over their health and wellbeing are both key elements. Teams across the ICS will work together to give everyone a fairer chance in life, and to make sure that all of our communities have the tools they need to live healthier, happier lifestyles for longer.
