The local NHS is offering outreach clinics and education sessions encouraging those who’ve never had a cervical screening test or have not had one for a long time. O utreach clinics will take place at various community locations and at different times of the day, such as evenings, helping to improve access to these vital screening appointments . Appointments are available across the north of the county, covering Peterborough, Fenland and Huntingdonshire.

Cervical Screening Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) videos

Please use this toolkit to help promote cervical screening videos (which have been filmed in nine languages) with your local communities. The videos cover a series of questions and answers to simply explain what cervical cancer screening is and why it’s important. The toolkit contains a template news article and suggested social media posts.

Website message/newsletter template

A new series of videos highlighting the importance of cervical screening are now available on the website. The videos cover a series of questions and answers to explain what cervical cancer screening is and why it’s important. The videos have been filmed in a number of languages which include Polish, Latvian, Romanian, Russian, Urdu and Portuguese, produced with the help of staff from local GP practices.
