Let's Talk Dermatology
Working alongside our healthcare professionals and local people, we are looking at how we can improve our local dermatology services with a view to developing a new model of care that will improve patient access, waiting times, patient outcomes and experience.
In our local area, NHS dermatology services provide diagnosis, investigation, and treatment for various skin conditions, including common issues like acne, eczema, and psoriasis, as well as more specialised services for skin cancer and rare skin diseases.
Due to increased demand, dermatology services in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Royston are under significant pressure. We want to look at ways in which we can use innovative and digital solutions to improve care and provide faster diagnosis, to look at how we can better support local people to self-manage conditions and how we can bring dermatology services closer to your home in our local communities.
To help us do this, we want to hear from local people about their experiences of dermatology services and are encouraging people to share their feedback by completing a short online survey.
This feedback and insight will help to shape the future of dermatology services so that they meet the needs of our local communities now and in the future.
Have your say
We want to hear from local people about your experiences and ways in which you feel services and access can be improved. Please share your feedback by completing this short survey. The survey will close at 5pm on Friday 13 June.
Alternatively, you can also share your feedback by emailing cpicb.letstalk@nhs.net
