Meet Dr Gary Howsam

Dr Gary Howsam is our Chief Clinical Improvement Officer.

Gary, with his team, leads work to align and drive transformation projects across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, making positive changes to the way health and care services are delivered for the benefit of local people.

He performs this role alongside his work as a GP in Peterborough, giving him excellent insights into general practice’s strengths and challenges. He has previously held the role of Vice Chair (External Affairs) at the Royal College of General Practitioners. Gary is a member of the NHS Assembly and is a non-executive director with Health Innovation East.
