Meet Louis Kamfer

Louis Kamfer joined the NHS in 2013 following a successful career working in different industries including food production, renewable energy and the third sector. Since joining the NHS, he has held Chief Finance Officer positions at a number of large CCGs, including Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG – where he has been since 2018. Louis has led several financial recovery programmes in the NHS and other sectors.

Throughout his career Louis has enabled data-driven decision making to deliver increased value and is passionate about using population health insights to improve the outcomes for our population, promote wellbeing and reduce health inequalities. Louis believes that only by understanding our population can we make a difference.

Louis is Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director of Strategic Commissioning and Senior Risk Information Officer (SIRO).
