Five local initiatives shortlisted

Partners from across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System have been recognised nationally, with five brilliant initiatives shortlisted for the prestigious HSJ awards 2025.

These national industry awards attracted more than 1,250 entries and celebrate the best talent, commitment and impact across the NHS and wider healthcare landscape. 

The locally shortlisted entries are:

  • Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Foundation Trust - Early Access, Lasting Impact: Transforming Mental Health Care for Children and Young People through Community Music Therapy. Nominated in the Early Intervention and Prevention for Children, Young People and Families Award.
  • North Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Care Partnership - Cervical Screening Project. Nominated in the Innovation and Improvement in Reducing Healthcare Inequalities Award.
  • Cambridgeshire Community Services Trust - Developing an open supportive culture where everyone can belong and thrive. Nominated in the Staff Wellbeing Award.
  • Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Foundation Trust - NHS Staff Mental Health Service: Rapid access to mental health care for NHS workers under pressure. Nominated in Staff Wellbeing Award.
  • Royal Papworth Hospital and Oleeo – From Reactive Hiring to Proactive Strategy: Building a Sustainable Workforce. Nominated in the Workforce Initiative of the Year.

 

The winners will be announced during at the awards ceremony in London on 20 November 2025.
