Join Dying Matters Week 2025

The local NHS and local hospices are coming together next week to mark Dying Matters Week (5-11 May) with a series of events for the public to attend.
Partners from across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice are holding events to encourage all communities to get talking in whatever way, shape or form works for them about dying.
Hayley Stock, Macmillan Palliative and End of Life Care Transformation Lead at NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough ICB, said, “Although it sometimes feels uncomfortable or difficult to talk about death, dying and bereavement, Dying Matters Week encourages us all to talk to our friends and family about this delicate topic.
“I really want to encourage local people to come along to one of the events to find out about the support available locally and speak to experts supporting people with end of life care and with bereavement."
